Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 30, 2026Who's responsible. Dylan Runner, doing business as Brieflet, British Columbia, Canada. For creator information inside a brand's workspace, the brand decides how it's used and we act as its service provider. Brands handle creator data under their own practices.
What we collect.
- Name and email.
- For creators, an optional shipping address.
- Briefs, logos, files, videos, questions and replies.
- Email preferences.
- When you sign in, your IP address and browser or device type, kept up to 90 days to keep the service working and secure.
How we use it. To sign you in, show your briefs and videos to the people you work with, and send the emails you've turned on. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who can see it. Brands see the name, email, uploads and optional shipping address of creators on their team. Creators see only the brands that invited them. We access data only to support you or keep the service secure.
Services we use. We store data and videos with Supabase (United States), host the app on Vercel, send email with Resend, and offer optional sign-in with Google. They handle data under contracts that limit how they use it.
Where data is stored. Your data is stored and processed in the United States and may be accessible there under US law. Brands and creators can be anywhere.
Cookies. Cookies that keep you signed in, plus a few that remember preferences (like the last brand you opened or a dismissed reminder). No analytics or advertising cookies.
How long we keep it. Until you delete your account or a brand deletes its workspace. Sign-in and request logs are kept up to 90 days, and unused sessions are deleted after 90 days. Backups are cleared within 30 days. Videos a creator delivered stay with that brand under the agreed usage rights, which may limit deletion requests for that content.
Security. We use access controls and encrypted connections, and limit staff access. No system is perfectly secure.
Your choices and rights. From Settings you can download your data, change email settings, leave a brand or delete your account. You can also email privacy@brieflet.io to access or correct your information, withdraw consent, or ask questions or complain. Where local law gives you further rights (for example in Canada, the EU/UK, or some US states), we'll honor them as required.
Children. Brieflet is for people 18 and over. We delete accounts we learn belong to minors.
Changes and transfer. We'll update the date above and email you about material changes. We may transfer your data to a successor entity (for example, if we incorporate), with notice to you.
